• Who is God

Who is the one true God? According to the Bible, He is the self-existent creator. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. He loves us more than we can comprehend. He created us to be His children and enjoy Him forever. But He is absolutely holy and just and will not tolerate evil in His presence.

  • What are we like in His eyes?

God created us much like Himself in that we know right from wrong and have the ability to make personal choices. We often make wrong choices and disobey God. God calls anything short of perfect obedience, sin. He naturally separates Himself from all who sin.

  • How can we have a relationship with God?

There is nothing we can do to reverse the effect of our sin and make ourselves acceptable to God. But God sent His Son to restore us to His favor. Jesus did this by dying on the cross for our sins. When Jesus died, He became our substitute and paid the penalty we deserve.

  • What must you do?

Depend on Jesus instead of yourself. Believe that Jesus was God who became man; believe that He took your place by dying for your sins; believe that He rose from the dead. Trust in Him alone.
